Archive M1

During August-September, 2008 the specialists of “Technical Brothers” company have accomplished the archive solution on M1 channel. For automated storing on the magnetic tapes the Sun StorageTek SL500 library including the robot, tape drives and a set of LTO4 tapes 800Gb each. The total capacity was equal to about 40 Terabytes. The management of the library is done by means of integrated digital archive complex called DIVArchive

Inter news archive

TV Inter decided to put in their productive structure of a system of archiving video, news «Details» and «One day», broadcasting content channel K1/K2, based on the software system DIVArchive of Front Porch Digital, which is designed to manage the archival of video broadcasting.

Internet Streaming. Inter, К1.

Streaming solution for Inter Media Group. Pilot Project. 

 Technical Brothers delivered streaming solution for biggest Ukrainian broadcaster. In the project scope two encoders based on Digital Rapids hardware and software were installed to stream Inter and K1 channels. The key feature of the project is that this is a small step toward to new media and TV integration.

With the installed streamers Inter can encode programs for new media into FLV(On2VP6), 3gp, AVC, MPEG2 over realtime streaming protocols, archive files in different formats. Actually,Digital Rapids steamers acts like a bunch of devices in one box, providing perfect quality and reliability.
In this project we cooperatd with Digital Rapids for encoding hardware and software and Wowza Media for their perfect media server

Television Technical Center 2 of Inter Group - Air room upgrade.

 Technical Brothers, together with the technical department of Inter completed the modernization of air room hardware TTTS2 Media Group. Television Technical Center 2 (TTTS2) provides broadcasting of channels K1 and K2. Main goal of the project was the replacement of hardware platform automation systems Harris D-Series, setup  mirroring broadcast server NEXIO and install the latest version  of software DIVA Front Porch Digital for digital archive. On TTTS2 implemented file system video production and broadcasting. System air automation, digital archive management system media assets, preparation of essential scheduling, broadcasting server constitute a single and scalable system for digital broadcasting.

Channel Branding at INTER TV.

In 2008, Technical Brothers together with developers from IT-TV company and engineers from Inter TV implemented automated channel branding system. The system includes customs modules for graphics assets management, scheduling  and complete integration with HARRIS  ADC-100 automation and the graphic core  - PixelPower Clarity 3000.

Star Factory

   In autumn 2007,  in Ukraine was  launched the first Ukrainian «Factory of Stars». According to estimates of independent experts, it was the most expensive television project in Ukraine. Hour shooting period (survey was conducted simultaneously by 30 cameras), was used simultaneously up to 50 different types of microphones, on-line broadcast to the Internet, the daily output broadcast diaries «Star Factory», weekly gala-concerts with the contestants and the mega-stars of Ukrainian and foreign music, and this is not a complete list of events taking place at the «Star Factory».

Digital Archive for TRK Ukraine.

 Technical Brothers completed the introduction of digital archive for channels group - TRK Ukraine. A digital archive based on the tape Library SL-500 SUN Microsystems (LTO-4 media) and software DIVA Front Porch Digital provides storage of essential materials, integrated interaction with the on air automation system - Pebble Beach. During the project was implemented software for import media files InFront Assistant, developed by Ukrainian Software company - IT-TV. The system allows you to import video files any physical media, record in a database of digital archive, create a proxy-version of the media, and provides an interface for searching and view media files. For transcoding purposes RHOZET Carbon Coder is using. Software installed on DELL Power Edge servers.

Broadcasting of major TV channels. Studio 1+1.

In 2009 the financial crisis affected all segments of the market, and forced   many companies to dramatically change their plans. Year 2009 for Technical Brothers was no so bad, we not only keep the most valuable - human resources, but also -  slightly expand.
